Michigan Motorcycle Safety Program
Administering the Michigan Motorcycle Safety Program is an important aspect of the Michigan Department of State's traffic safety mission. Michigan's program uses safety standards established by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation to ensure consistent and comprehensive training. All motorcycle riders must take a knowledge test and successfully complete a motorcycle safety class or pass a rider skills test. A motorcycle endorsement is required to legally ride on public streets and highways.

Twelve spectacular bikes each significant of a particular Detroit Red Wings season adorn the first floor of Hockeytown Cafe, including two custom bikes, one dedicated to the Detroit Red Wings and one to the Detroit Tigers.
